The proceedings of a Medical Board assembled at the Civil Hospital, Hongkong, on the 19th February, 1924, for the purpose of examining and reporting upon the present state of health of A.97 James Putt of the Poe Department.

President

Members

Dr. C. W. McKenny.

Dr. J. T. Smalley. Dr. T. L. Paterson.

The Board having assembled proceeded to examine A.97 James Putt and find that during his tour of service he has been admitted to hospital on nine occassions and has during a period of 24 years spent 165 days in hospital. The board find that he is suffering from cardiac weakness and chronic gastritis and are not of opinion that he is now or is likely to be fit for ordinary duties As the patient has received much medical treatment from Government and private practitioners and has been permitted to perform light duties for a very considerable period without any real improvement, the board recommend that Mr. Putt be invalided.

(98.) C. W. McFenny.

J. T.

Smalley.

V. L. Paterson.
